Wondering if winning the big ten regular season title garners us one seed. Would be nice to rest here and there prior to the dance. Not a big fan of conference tournaments.

I think we have a 1.5-game lead right now, so if we wrap up the conference before our last game at Iowa I would rest people there also. No reason to play that physical team with the conference wrapped up.

Like I had such a good time last night, I thought I'm going to go to senior night and watch the Purdue game. Log in to the IU ticket website and it said no tickets are available. I tried my faculty/staff, I tried buying them, I tried everything and it says sold out.

Wonder if the availability is based on not yet opening the balconies Chris? Prior to Iowa they had not made those available.

They get like almost 2 weeks of a break from the conference championship game to their first NCAAT game. I don't really think extra rest is needed.

I think a lot of people forget... these girls (and guys) grow up playing 5-6 games in a weekend, regularly. We have a double bye--- this team playing 3 straight days and then 2 weeks off.

They just made the announcement it's sold out even the balcony, but do have a few student tickets left.

I think you are probably right but watching Holmes run up and down the court last night, then beating and banging the Iowa farm girl, she looked worn out.

We win out until Iowa and Iowa gets a loss (best chance is Maryland on the 21st), then we are assured the conference title.  If we both win out, then we have to win for sole share of title or share it with Iowa.

No one will want to share it with Iowa.

  • Grace Berger senior night.
  • A sellout.
  • Against Purdue, and against
  • A mediocre opponent.

I'm thinking those 17,000 fans will be rewarded with a very, very good time.

I really hope the clock can keep running with all the noise to come (wink-wink).

Crowd noise causing clock to stop was really one of the top dumb things the announcers said last night and they said many.

Our game against the PUs definitely will be Grace's home finale. I believe Mack and Scalia (both fourth-year seniors) have the option of returning for a fifth year under COVID. Wonder if either has any desire to do so?

Pretty sure Mack has already confirmed she's returning.

IU Ladies and all staff, I am sure are having the time of their lives.
I expect IU Ladies to win every game through out rest of regular season schedule and big ten tournament starting with Ohio State. IU Ladies basketball program are of the highest level competitors.
T. Moren including staff is in the process of doing what she set out to do….bring this program out of the ashes to what it is and will continue to be under her leadership.

Mack last year said she would play as long as IU would let her wear the uniform (she is an unbelievable teammate in the best way)…I would be a little surprised if S. Scalia didn’t return…I am sure she loves the love and faith around her.

It seems a lot more people are posting about our women’s bball program. Great to see. It would be nice that this is a pattern that lasts a long time.

Posts (that were a few to some) sure are different starting even before this season (a few seasons now) than what they use to be.

I saw this written on ESPN's mock draft article the other day.

Indiana Hoosiers senior post player Mackenzie Holmes has not declared for certain she will return to college, but told ESPN she is strongly leaning on coming back, so we didn't include her for draft consideration.

Not sure where they get their information, but Mack stated in no uncertain terms she will be back at IU next year. She’s coming back.
