Neither, Penn State nor Illinois is that good.  About as good as Purdue in the lower part of middle  of the big ten.

Once again, I have difficulty deciphering your posts.   Yes, we struggled against Illinois and we're in a dogfight with PSU on the road.  We're down 3 players who would typically see extended minutes one of whom is the heart and soul of the team.  We sucked in the first half but now lead by 8 after 3 quarters.  All things considered, I think the women are playing their a$$e$ off and hope they can sustain the effort for another quarter.

Wonder why does posters have to find negative in everything and just jumps to conclusions way to early.  No team will play their A game everynight out and will have to learn to win even when not playing their best.

I agree 100% with you.

I agree 100% with you.

A couple games that should be dominant wins followed by a really needed break will be a big positive for this team.

Points:  Mack and Parrish each 18; Chloe 11;  Garzon and Scalia each 7.    53% FG; 33% on 3s; 89% FT

Reb:  Mack 10; Garzon 8; Parrish 7                  PSU outrebounded us 37-31

Asst:  Chloe 7; Garzon 5; Scalia 4; Parrish 3

We had 17 TOs but only 5 in the 2nd half.

PSU had 13 more FGA but shot just 36% and only hit 4-22 on 3s.

They really battled in that 2nd half.

Penn state and Illinois are Quadrant 1 wins in the NET as of today.

Neither of these squads sniffed that high in the NET last year so these are quality wins.

I agree they are quality wins.  And big ten wins are always quality wins, especially road wins.

Parrish is going to get better and better…good for IU Ladies to see her score and do things that a player like her can do.  Get Scalia to up her scoring % especially on 3 ball.  Lot’s of upside to this team that will be needed in January and February and March…April???
