So IU’s pitch should be “forget what we did with Jalen Hood Schifino; look what we did with Trey Galloway’s jumpshot.“

No, because the problem is that he already has Trey Galloway’s jumpshot. He can make clean looks, but his release is low and out front to the point that he can’t get it off against a decent contest. It’s no coincidence that his highlight reels never show him making tough jumpers. He doesn’t take any. If he comes off a screen with space he’ll try to get all the way to the rim every time.

Seems kind of early if for us or would we take him and some of the higher ranked guards as well?

They’ve watched him non-stop for 2 summers, They’d take him in a New York second, no problem.

just visited Maryland, right?  Hard not to look at them first. But,  I think we have a good shot if he was priority #1 for us for his position.

Last visit is the usual favorite, but we've gotta have a real chance here.

I think his visit to Maryland is September so I’m not sure this holds as true here….this just means he intends to choose shortly after the visit. If it was a guarantee for Maryland I’d think he’d just announce before the visit. Just my opinion

Indiana: “Mike Woodson was a NBA coach who coached some of the best players. I have a great relationship with the whole coaching staff and I know Gabe Cupps and some other players as well. They recently had Jalen Hood-Schifino who is similar in size and plays the same position. They got him first round this year and they had a great season this year. Their fans is probably the craziest fans I’ve seen and that plays a big part in this. My visit there was also amazing.”

Well that’s pretty good ;)

It's Indiana vs Maryland and Maryland is like "home" to him.  He likes a lot of the players Maryland just got (DHS, Kaiser, etc)

With Queen visit coming up, this Maryland vs Indiana thing is getting old.

For me, there are other guards I like in 24 as much or better so I wouldn't lose sleep but we want to get 2 guards in this class.  Mustaf also plays AAU with Schwartz who will be visiting shortly and I'm not exactly sure how well they get along but you'd assume that's a plus.

Not so fast. NC State and FSU have a real shot here.

Dad is a former NBA player and running the process. I’m pretty sure that dad has no great connection with Kevin Willard.
