Ugh. We missed a couple bunnies at the rim that would have cut it to one. 61-58 Stanford with three mins to play.

Doesn’t look good. Down 8 with two mins to play. Size killed us. Holmes hardly a factor because they’re just too tall. If we want to beat this kind of a team in the tourney we’re gonna have to be better from deep.

Down 2 with 31 seconds to go. Gulbe with a big three. Gonna take some missed free throws by Stanford. No matter what, we played them tough given the size advantage. Moren will be better prepared to negate the height on defense to open the game come tourney time. This team is legit top five team.

There are definitely still programs we are catching up to. Stanford has been a great program and the defending champs. If we can truly just compete with those top programs, then eventually we gotta make it over that hump I would think.

Looking at the stats, it's impressive that the game is this close, we've shot 33% from the field, been outrebounded by 20 and have had 7 shots blocked

Damn... Well for as poorly as they seemed to have played, and for it to have been that close, good job. More needs to get some shooters though.

Tough loss. Patberg had a three half way down. Good fight. They’ll learn from this one. Better start against the taller team and we would have had this one. Just dug ourselves too big a hole.

Tough loss for sure, stats show a less than stellar effort, so something positive to take away that we can hang with a team like Stanford not playing our best

I am not even mad about that loss. We went toe-to-toe with a legit top 5 team proving are a true top 5-10 team as well.

Any win against Stanford, NC State or Maryland this yr is a bonus, but a top 2 Big Ten finish and a 23-6 record is very much in reach and after today I am more confident we can do that.

Most teams don’t have Stanford’s length inside to make our inside game miserable but we hung in there. We actually played far better than the last win against Quinnipiac, but not enough in a game that could go either way.

Miami got beat big by Washington St today who is not the greatest team in their own right.

If IU is actually the top 5-10 team they look so far, this is a game you win comfortably against the Hurricanes Saturday.

Stanford just lost a thriller to a really good South  Florida team. Doesn't say much more about how good IU is other than Stanford, IU and USF are really good, but still interesting to note.

Stanford pummeled Maryland which marks two straight big losses for them. Hard to understand where the top 10 falls. All I know if I’m fairly confident IU is one of those teams.
