Disappointing news.

For the sake of clarity, Rabjohns said it's unrelated to his previous injury and he is expected to return this season. 

Obviously suboptimal.

Neither Jakai nor Gabe were going to see extended minutes but it does reduce our guard pool if we suffer any further injuries at that position.

Jakai can't catch a break.  Hope it isn't as serious as the previous injury/redshirt.

We are cheering for you, Jakai.  Get well.  Get better.

This woulda been what DolsonBurner was referring to a few days ago.  Wishing for the best for this kid. Not sure I’ve seen anything like it with a guard.

Really sucks. We have high hopes for Jakai and I have faith he still finds meaningful minutes. Hate it for the dude.

Ok, got a question for you lawyer types: IU seems to put out injury stuff like Newton’s generically as “lower body” or in that vein while pretty much every other school reports that I’ve seen or read specifically mention “knee” or “back” or whatever it might be. Why is that? Do they interpret something HIPPA-related more conservatively than other schools or have they just made an in house decision to be as vague as possible?
