Comments from this past weekend AAU event

2022 Seth Trimble scored 20 pts including a game winning And1 bucket for @PhenomUniverse 17U in a comeback win over Team Thad EYBL.

Seth Trimble of @PhenomUniverse was outstanding in their win over Team Speights.  Pumped in a loud 26 points, got to just about every spot he needed to get to, played like a guy who will make March plays. Awesome morning.

2022 6’3 Guard  @sethtrimble1 @PhenomUniverse EYBL is the real deal. Continues to make big play after big play for his squad. Back to back winning plays in the final seconds to take home the wins.

Dan Gibbs of NY2LASports.com -

Trimble is an exceptionally skilled point guard that is at his best off the dribble attacking. He is an explosive athlete that was scoring it from all three levels but can also distribute the ball well with great instincts. The junior finishes at a high level at the basket and hits jumpers from all over. Trimble has all the tools to get it done on the next level.

Midwest Hoops Spotlight -

At the half of the 17U title game (WI Spring Showcase) Phenom Universe leads it 41-27 over JH1.  Seth Trimble has been scoring at will attacking.

Seth Trimble has turned it up a level for this title game & has taken it over. All game he has been unstoppable attacking off the dribble. Great moves & handle, changes direction so well, & finishes so well around the basket.

The 17U title game is won 71-59 by @PhenomUniverse over JH1 behind a dominating performance from ‘22 PG Seth Trimble.

From the 2021 Wisconsin Spring Showdown - While Trimble always plays at a high level, he was simply unstoppable during the championship game and took it over to lead Phenom to the title with a 27-point outburst.  The point guard just has great quickness and dynamic moves while attacking to always be beating his man and getting to the basket.  The explosive athlete can finish big at the rim but is also a crafty finisher around the paint.  With his big performance, he earned himself a couple of Big 10 offers, coming from Michigan and Penn State.

Eric Bossi's comments:

Things have really been heating up for four-star point guard Seth Trimble of Phenom U/Team Herro this spring and it is easy to see why.

As athletic a point guard as there is in the class of 2022, Trimble is put together, quick and exploits even the slightest of openings in a defense. Lose him for a second and he’s going to dunk on you.

Trimble is a pretty good passer on top of that and the potential and ability he shows on the defensive end thanks to his ability to move his feet is nothing to sneeze at.

So far, he’s set to hit Marquette on June 2nd for an unofficial visit before seeing Michigan (6/13) and North Carolina (6/16), officially, during June.

NY2LA Sports.com on Trimble from the LoneStar Invitational:  Seth Trimble put together yet another good weekend for Phenom University. He controls the game from the Point Guard position, getting his team into sets, knowing when to look for his own offense and when to get his teammates involved. He is able to finish at the rim through contact with great body control, footwork and explosive leaping ability. Trimble has shown major improvement in consistency with his jumper and elevated for some midrange jumpers that will absolutely translate to higher levels of basketball. Trimble recently added offers from North Carolina and Michigan and is trending towards a potential 5 star recruit when rankings are updated.
