Kind of crazy a program that has a kid as a backup plan can blow them away with one visit after losing out on their top target when a basketball crazed program struggles with them as a primary target.

Va Tech people hadn't felt confident in weeks (pre Bama visit). Clowney himself said he didn't think he was going to Bama going into that visit. 2+2=4.

Just depends what you are looking for. Plenty of solid reasons to pick Bama.
