You really don’t think guys like Moser, Devries, and Wes Miller are excellent excellent coaches?

Okay then.

Not for IU, we screw this critical hire up then you risk losing the fanbase altogether!!

1.  Proven Power 5 success with deep Tourney runs (a must)

2.  Preferably Under the age of 60

3.  Charismatic leader that won't shrink under the pressure at IU

4.  Someone who can inspire the masses

Couple of things: 1) you need to add criterion #5: has any interest in leaving their current job. Otherwise, this is all just academic. 2) I’m surprised you would exclude Brad Stevens, who has no P5 coaching experience. Sorry, snark. 3) I assume by deep tourney run, you mean at least elite 8, since Crean went to 2 sweet 16’s and people say he never made a deep run. 4) So your candidate is a sub-60 year old P5 HC with at least 2 elite 8’s and is looking for a new gig. So, off the top of my head, your list is, at most, 3 coaches. 1 is Chris Beard, who may actually not be interested. 1 is Scott Drew, who may or may not be interested. And the other would be.......Sean Miller.

You good with that?

Yes!

Because everyone else is not good enough.

So if Beard and Drew say "no,", we should go get Sean Miller!

HERE’s AN OFFERING FROM ME TO THE BOARD—A REALISTIC list for y’all:

1. Beard

2. Musselman

3. Enfield

4. Moser

5. Wes Miller

6. Darian Devries

7. Lewis

This is also an absolute sunshine pumper home run list of people that may actually have a real chance to be named coach at IU. Any of them would be a major upgrade over Archie Miller at IU.

I’ll put the odds of it being one of my seven up against any list of seven coaches that aren’t on that list.

Hasnt Moser only made 2 tournaments in 20 years? I thought I heard that. Too lazy to look it up. If that’s the case..... please no!

Funny you mention #5, I did add a #5 which was exactly that. Also this is under the assumption that Stevens was already out.
