He's not going anywhere with the lack of revenue from no fans in football and basketball. I'm not sure I see enough Big10 quality basketball players which could make next year quite ugly

I don't know if its unique to IU or its uniform across college basketball, but the cutoff date being April 1st is asinine. if you want to cut ties with a coach, you're likely going to do it by March 15-20th. That extra 2 weeks time is a difference of millions of dollars. If you're still playing games at April 1st, its likely you're happy with the coach and not contemplating firing him.

Yep which is probably why agents negotiate it
