LamarCheeks Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 We throw a four-yard pass on third and 13. This offense is so friggin' lame. theriverpilot 1 Quote

JSHoosier Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 I've defended Ramsey on this board, but on the few shots we did take downfield this half he didn't make good throws. Quote

JSHoosier Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 In live action it kind of looked like Barwick held the ball up in celebration then remembered he should run. Quote

I think that comment was in reference to a DL getting a pick. Although feel free to go to Btown to kick DeBord in the nuts anyway. theriverpilot 1 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 So after that interception, we were able to run all of two plays before the field goal miss! ... Sheesh! Quote

Old Friend Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 I'm trying. I'm really trying to be objective. But I can't. Peyton Ramsey is awful. And playing like he's scared. How many open receivers does he have to miss in favor of a checkdown? Purdue gets into a 1st and 20....and gains 18 yards. Ramsey immediately throws a horizontal pass and gains an inch. (Yes...others were running routes...that was Ramsey's decision for those who will blame DeBord). He is not yet playing well today and averaging a pathetic 5.1 yards per attempt. That's an abysmal number. thebigweave and colonel06 2 Quote
TheWatShot Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 Two big moments from the first half: the 3rd down roughing penalty that Purdue turned into points, and the Purdue interception that we got nothing out of. Difference between a well-coached team that takes advantage of opportunities and a poorly-coached team that squanders them. Quote

Get a good story line, get to a bowl game for reason X! We do a lot to screw ourselves in football but there are some mystery calls that make you truly wonder what's going on. The third down pass over the middle to Fryfogle who was turned around by a hold. The "late hit" on Blow that wasn't late. The "holding" on Scott. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 If this isn't exactly what IU football is all about. This from CrimsonCast - All season we're told fans need to show up. Then we do today and one main food stand is closed. And the others are sold out of pizza and hot dogs in second quarter. If you want fans to show. Be ready when they do! colonel06, thebigweave and LIHoosier 2 1 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Is it as juicy as the theory that we threw last year's Bucket game because we had a bunch of players upset about Wilson being let go and just wanted the season to end instead of having to practice for three more weeks? LIHoosier Posted November 24, 2018 Author Posted November 24, 2018 As dignified as Fisch is calling IU basketball, he is so salty calling IU football and its just as great. thebigweave and colonel06 2 Quote
