Hey all - fans are quick to call out the coaches when things don’t go well. But so far there’s this:

That was an incredibly well-coached half. We got gashed by them in their first drive. We made adjustments and were completely stellar on defense thereafter. Also... the play calling; using Hale and Westbrook’s big bodies for big plays?

Kudos to CTA and DeBoard.

I hope you weren't driving while looking at the thread.  IU needs all the fans it can get!  You must have been watching it early.,   Really rough start to to the game,   But they settled down pretty well.

Having a linebacker shadow the QB especially after that huge run he had on the first drive was the key to slowing them down.

One big QB run and a blocked & returned PAT are really all that has gone wrong. IU clearly looks like the superior team. Hope they don't screw it up.

All you need to know:  Some kid with a number on his jersey has thrown some passes to some other guys with numbers on their jerseys.  Couple of runners with numbers on their backs have made a couple of runs and guys on defense with numbers on their jerseys made some tackles and committed some penalties.
