Khristian Lander, Evansville Reitz: The sophomore guard went for 35 points and seven assists in a 91-59 over Mt. Vernon (Posey), shooting 14-for-19 from the field and 5-for-10 from the 3-point line. He was 5-for-8 from 3-point range, finishing 8-for-15 from the field overall. His team, Reitz, plays mainly Freshmen and Sophomores. Going to watch him play tomorrow in the Sectional Semi's. Rumor around Evansville is that he is going to a prep school after this season. I can't blame him, just wish he would stick around for one more season due to the weak junior class. He would probably be the best player in the state next year. Quote

The whole prep deal as good as it is for the player, bolds bad for the University at this point in time until we again prove relevant nationally.
