3 players in northeast Indiana scored their 1,000th point last night. Kreigh Roush at Southern Wells, Brandon Stroble at Blackford and Conner Essegian at Central Noble. The first two are seniors. Essegian is only a sophomore.

Opening night of sectional play at Boonville with Evansville Bosse taking on Gibson Southern not without a snafu.  Bosse forgot its road jerseys so its wearing the host school Boonville's road unis.

Seymour Regional could be fun. Championship could be Bloomington South vs. Evansville Reitz. I went two years ago. Crazy that I saw Langford, TJD, and Leal all play. Very possible that is three straight Mr. Basketballs.

HSAA commissioner Bobby Cox said max of 75 admission for each school for regional - administrators, immediate family, etc.

No, our oldest grandson was scheduled to run in the HSR at Indiana Wesleyan but like most everything else, it's been canceled.

Wondering if there will be a little extra security up at the bowl to prevent more than the limited amount of people from entering

Had more than one person tell me the IHSAA and Bobby Cox can do whatever the hell they want. I suppose thats the case. NBA, NCAA and MLB all cancelled but HSBB can go on with 150 people in the place??
