2026 Indiana Miss Basketball Gracyn Gilliard from Center Grove HS.   Take it FWIW but there's been some internet chatter that she might ask for her release from Davidson and that IU would be interested.  Purely internet chatter.

I haven’t heard anything around here about her asking for her release but I know  2 girls who would be really happy if she ends up playing in Bloomington

New Haven Bulldogs won a regional for the first time in school history! They are going back to Logansport (same spot as regionals), to take on Delta in semi state.

Fishers HS head coach Garrett Winegar is leaving and will join the coaching staff at Iowa United Prep that also includes Keith Smart as a member of its staff. 

Immediately on another board the speculation began that Jason Gardner and Cooper Zachary might join him for their senior years.

Don’t I recall Winegar throwing a bit of a public hissy fit when Jalen Haralson left Fishers for LaLumiere?

Men’s Junior National Team minicamp in Indianapolis April 3-5.  Chase Branham will be there along with several other IU offers and a couple of kids that have made UV although they've not been offered.

In a game just ended, Parke Heritage defeated Westview 57-56 for the state 2A championship.  We make a lot of fun about PUke's Amish boy but Westview has the real deal.  Really good story about Austin Schlabach but also about the relationship between the Amish community and the local school.  As a side note, I grew up in Elkhart County and attended school with a number of Amish kids until they reached the age of 16 and then poof, they were gone.
