Archie lit into the team in the locker room and none of the players spoke up at all? Pretty much. I'm thinking Archie does whatever he has to to get Hartman on the court. He is needed. Quote
southsidehoosier Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 The sky isn’t falling but there is definitely a low hanging fog... gotta think the Garland and Langford families were watching that scratching their heads. No you really don't "gotta think" that at all. No decision on either recruit hinges on last nights performance. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Yes, the seniors did not show they want to win. Let’s see what they do in the other 30+ games this year. Plenty to improve upon. Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando BtownBanners thebigweave 1 Quote
patrickmorriso9 Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 haven't read most of this thread yet so idk if this point has already been made but I think we'll see a different team once collin comes back. He seems like he's our only true leader and I'm confident he'll be able to talk a lot of people thru things on the defensive end of the court and really facilitate our play Str8Hoosiers 1 Quote
Hoosier82 Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 If we have to have Hartman to find any kind of success, IU is in trouble. I love him as player, but he can’t stay on the court health wise. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners WayneFleekHoosier and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

An awesome guy, a great Hoosier, a solid leader, a consistent shooter but not really that great of a player. In his absence, his ability has been over exaggerated, but I will say, we could really use his shooting as he is probably the best and most consistent 3 point shooter we have. He is a mature player, unlike most of this team. IUBBFan1970 and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 I would say Hartman's greatest basketball strength is his basketball IQ and communication. Two aspects that allow less talented teams beat better talent. It amazes me that people will seek out a coach or instructor that will help them get in better shape or more athletic but don't put the same effort into "learning" the game or studying film.
