Can anyone comment on how someone like Schilling would affect our chances with Romeo?

I believe he was UCLA's primary recruiter on Romeo so he at least already has a relationship built with him.

The makings of an excellent staff.

Recruiting connections to east coast, indiana, and even some brief early connections to west coast as needed.

Head coaching experience. Disciplinarians. Some chemistry carry over due to previous connections.

I'd say it's a home run staff.

Appears to be heading towards a big 2018 class where we could flex our muscles.

This year will be Creans team so my expectations are tempered but the talent is there to compete as early as next year but it might take 2 years to really start seeing Archie's complete vision but we surely seem to have a head start.

Generally speaking.....Jeff Goodman like people don't twee out a team's staff members if they don't matter. Our staff might very well be the "best" like Archie said he was going to go get. Honestly I  thought it was just talk but now.....I really believe him.

It's goodman's job and others like him to report any news related to college basketball. Goodman also reported Portland St's hiring of their new coach today as well

I edited my post. Yes he reported single promotions. Haven't seen him report an entire staff. I could be wrong and it may be special circumstance seeing as how the idea was to announce this staff all at once.

I'm guessing by saying I set you straight and "proudly" did so would be the reason others might of said to chill. I proudly watched my 3 year old play soccer yesterday but as far as proudly setting you straight I'm not sure how that could come across on a message board.

We can hope it was on CMartin (I fear it was more on Crean) for not closing those deals or else they will be in the thick of it. Hard to know where to pass that blame.

 

Aren't they getting Orlando Antigua as well?

 

They have good reason to be optimistic if it's Underwood, Martin, Antigua.
