Would they really be unhappy with $elf as their coach? They'd be handed a conference championship when arriving on campus, most likely a conference tourney title, and a 1 or 2 seed in the tourney. They would also be getting the dough, not for baking, luxury dorms, and the cops in their back pocket anytime they felt they needed to punch someone.

Yes but at the end of the day they would all want their shots and minutes so they could get to the NBA. The point is there wouldn't be enough shots or minutes to go around imo.

Also, #Nebrasketball officially announces that Jack McVeigh will pursue a pro career and has signed with an agent. His time with the #Huskers is over.

Xavier commit Evan Boudreaux, who averaged 17.5 points and 9.5 boards last season, told ESPN he will re-open his recruitment. Grad transfer with two years remaining. - Jeff Goodman

Taylor and Boudreaux are right at the top of my grad transfer list. Boudreaux could cause a scholarship problem in 2019 though since he does have 2 years left but here are some of his highlights.

Washington State's Malachi Flynn will transfer, per his Twitter page. Will be in HIGH demand. Averaged 15.8 PPG and 4.3 APG.- John Rothstein

Isn’t this the kind of kid who always ends up at Gonzaga?

Butler and Indiana have both reached out to C.J. Walker with interest. Point guard has two years of eligibility.

Don’t love it. Better than Newkirk but not the guy I want as a lead guard.

Otherwise makes a lot of sense. Location, inside-out, etc.

He would be a nice backup to a sophomore RP

Think he wants to transfer into a backup role?

We should aim higher. Look at the PGs the big dogs are signing.

Heck, like you, I like Phinisee better.

However guard depth is key, and I’d take Walker over Durham.

Honestly, I’m waiting to see if there is a pattern behind the kind of player Archie recruits now that he’s at Indiana. If he’s a system coach, maybe we just don’t see how this is the right player for his system. I’m definitely of the mindset that we need a healthy mix of four year players and 5 star studs.

If he wants to play closer to home then maybe he would.
He would be playing in 2019 and the only pg a big dog has so far is North Carolina who has Francis (50). Besides Carton in 2019 there isn’t much depth in the pg position that we are involved with (Cole?)
Maybe we should aim higher but in 2019 who should we shoot for besides Carton?
Totally agree on guard depth. Calling on an Indiana kid that has elite 8 starting experience can’t hurt to see if there is interest in my opinion

Let me be clear, we don't want the starting PG on an Elite team? We're too good for that? Eeesh. We went 16-15 this year lol we aren't very good. CJ would play at least 20mins a game for us.. starting or not. He very well could just want to move home for the reason of his transfer.

His team did decent, I think.

I thought he stood out the most on that team out of the guards. Created his own shot and seemed willing to drive to the hoop
