As you can tell, Stevens is my first choice and probably the only name on my whole first page. But that doesn't mean there aren't any other good coaches. There are multiple that would be significant upgrades and Glass has to know this

Whoa. That is crazy coming from him. He only goes with what he is told. He has no sources other than posters that followed him from Scout. Crazy cause he never posts anything anti-Crean.

 

Edit: He knows which posters he can trust for most part.

Yes he is and it needs to happen. I obviously want Stevens but there's plenty of other good coaches out there as well

I know. I was a mod with him for a few years. I know who probably told him so that is interesting. He held a few things close to the vest. So for him to bring that to the board he has probably heard more than once.

Just curious, why? When he was at Iowa State he didn't really have what I'd call next tier talent,  but seemed to get them to overachieve. His tourney record leaves a lot to be desired. I'd support him, but I've heard other posters who I like a lot say they don't want him. Just looking for people's perspectives on why not him

Seems like an up-and-comer but I know next to nothing about him except that I like his PG this year. Corizzo or something. Go!

Oh and Ken was everything other than anti-Crean. Contributed to unnamed parties here and his tension that essentially ended Scout as it was.

I can't either or I think he was extended after last year. No insider info just a feeling this year was for stability after last year.

To much Andy Enfeld, Shaka Smart for me.  I want a fundamental coach.  Give me Archie, if not Stevens!  Please, for the LOVE OF GOD, stay away from Hoiberg!  He will not unite the fanbase.  I don't think Archie will either, but after 2-3 years people will see what he will do here!  Longevity.

Fair enough. And meh Shaka was nothing more than a guy who ran a more gimmick defense than the 2-3 zone the Cuse use. I can see the Enfeld comparisons.
