Does anyone have a good, non-biased article about Alford's Iowa incident? I'm trying to understand why everyone hates on him but all I'm really finding about it is that at the time he came out and said that he thought that his player was innocent. I assume there's a lot more to it, but I'm not familiar with the incident so idk which articles are telling the truth and which are spinning alternative facts.

You won't find one. This one has more details. It's biased, but there is more to the story. There is a reason UCLA fans protested his hiring, and it wasn't his record.

Here is an article from a local beat reporter for Terre Haute.  Again, Marshall is NOT my cup of tea.  Just a hard pass for me please.

After Donovan, these are my top two choices.  I think Marshall has the higher floor and Archie has the higher ceiling.  Either can get us back to being elite, and our fanbase should be thrilled at the prospect of replacing Crean with one of them.

I need someone to build the best case they can for Archie.  Please don't rely heavily on potential.  Kwame Brown had enormous potential.

I don't find Archie's record convincing.   If you take away two one point games from the 2014 season, and don't think he gets considered for the job.  His team's efficiency numbers are weak.   Compared to Marshall's they are poor.   His wife's social media comments directed at other teams bothers me.   I think he will underwhelm at a major school.
