I do think there is some confirmation bias involved, especially with Donovan's house being listed.  There could be a thousand reasons he'd do that, only one of which is not having an offseason to live there.

Agreed. Does seem to be an odd time to list it

If he was keeping it as an off-season home the offseason is right around the corner.

If he was keeping it because his kids are/we're in school you think it would have happened in January or June.

It isn't that odd.  NBA coaches actually have an off-season.  That was stated by Brad Stevens and the total reason why he still has a lake house in Northern Indiana.

The timing is odd because of the rumors, and listing the day Crean was supposedly told that he won't be back.  If he was going to live there in the offseason there would be no need to list it, unless he was planning on no longer having an offseason.

I think there's some confirmation bias involved though.

Nope...I get it JS.  This is very odd timing.  If he was still considering being the NBA for a couple of more seasons, he would still be able to enjoy that nice home in Florida during the off season.  If moving to say, INDIANA, he would have a lot of building to do and not have any time in Florida.

Wrong-o on that account. Gainesville, Florida, and for that matter, all of Central Florida, is a completely miserable place in the summer:

"Unlike most of Florida, Gainesville has some fairly large seasonal fluctuations. Its inland location means that it is shielded from the temperature moderation that the bodies of water surrounding Florida provide.  It is also too far inland to benefit from any 'ocean breezes'.  The heat and humidity in July and August should not be underestimated.

During the summer, Gainesville experiences typical Florida weather, with high humidity and frequent rainfall, with highs usually in the mid-90s (about 35°C) but rarely above 100°F (38°C) and 6in (15cm) of precipitation per month."

But you forgot about Dillon.

The chiropractor staff confirmed through Lyonel's side piece that some Biznass is going down.

Indeed...but this is a recitation of posts related to the day when the cat was let out of the bag.
