I reallly WANT Mark Smith so honestly I have to put on my cheering hat again. If we blow this game we might as well say bye to him. If we lost and were down the whole game I would feel much better. Not even sure if he is here for us or them tho.

This is key! Watch Collins' halftime adjustments and see how he does. I think one of the biggest criticisms of Crean is that he's never shown the ability to have a half like Collins just had and make adjustments to turn it around.

9 years of tape. Getting to up or down on this one game is crazy. At this point short of a win out scenario there can't be any way he is back. Imo

It doesn't all fall on one game. But one game leads to another, etc.. They are all factored in.

I don't believe a decision has been made. My guess is Glass would love a few more wins to make his decision easier. Or a few more losses to make his decision easier. Either way.

There's no way a win out scenario should save him either. He'd be 8-10 in conference and we know IU will lose first game of the BTT. You add that up and that's 18-14. Still not in the tournament but not good enough either way

I've said it before but if he were coming back I think there would already have been a public announcement from Glass with a contract extension to put the rumors to bed.  The silence from Glass speaks volumes IMO.

I get that, but if he hasn't seen enough one way or the other he needs to go. I am a very strong defender of what he has done so far. But being indecisive one way or the other is about as bad as making a bad move at this point.

This for me. He has always came out in support in spite of the 2 year contract extension previously. His silence is deafening.

I've constantly said that Crean will be gone after this season. There's just no justifiable way to bring him back
