IU VS. PURDUE OFFICIAL GAME THREAD (7 PM ET ESPN2)

Pretty simple IMO. If they control tempo and pound it inside we are in trouble. If we force tempo and hit a bunch of threes we have a good chance. We have to be the agressor!! If Purdue pounds it inside and starts getting the call forget it.

It might be the Swanigan(Team)factor but IDK. Kid has played like a top 50 type kid or better.

Pretty sure it's the Swanigan factor. When he isn't in the game their offense falls off quite a bit. They'll be good again next year but nothing like now imo if Swanigan leaves

Purdue is as much of a three point shooting team this year.

Hopefully Swanigan gets in some early foul trouble to throw them off their game plan a bit.

They go as he goes.

Really wish we had OG for this one.

I wish, but we just don't attack the basket really at all. We'll have to luck into foul trouble. Seems like our free throw disparities are always crazy and people complain about officiating, but it's actually because we don't ever attack the basket. Or attack it well.

Any word on how long Blackmon is out?  I haven't heard anything other than the indefinitely, lower leg issue B.S. from two weeks ago.

From what I've read, I think he plays but how many minutes and how well are a question mark.

Don't know if it's been said recently but JM was back in his boot in class today.  Probably precautionary but got to feel for the guy as he's clearly not been 100% healthy this season or during his time at IU as a whole.

Aka Hanner Pera/Peter Jurkin/Every other big under Crean.

I saw somewhere after last game that Crean said he was gonna try to do something to get us to the foul line more after seeing the free throw difference after the Wisconsin game. Whether he actually does and if it works is another thing.

That would be nice to see. We'll need it tomorrow and moving forward if we want to dance. We just can't beat teams only playing around the perimeter.

FORT WAYNE Radio guy says when he matches IU/Purdue 1-5 he gives Purdue the edge in 4, maybe even 5 of the spots. Lol

FIRE HIM, THIS IS EMBARRASSING!
