Haha Purdue fans get defensive when someone said IUs biggest rival is UK. "Come on guys, us! Look at us! We're important!" We had another thread about most hated rivals and Purdue and UK top the list for most though, I'd personally go with UK, living near that god forsaken border and all.

His demeanor may change anyway just due to the fact that he almost lost his life. That will make u grow up and set a certain wisdom upon u that your not going to gain otherwise

Everyone heals differently, I had a bad stroke almost 7 years ago, and I'm still not fully recovered, when I was in rehab, I saw people that made progress so muck faster than me, and some much slower.3 things he definitely has going for him,1. his age,2. His overall fitness, and 3. The amazing medical staff affiliated with IU. Full recovery is prayed for and expected. *Disclaimer : am I a medical expert, No. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

My uk friend texted me so mad that we didn't get kicked out of the poll. We have only 1 ranked win and Maryland is overrated and should barely be in as well. He is a halfway osu fan as his secondary team so I couldn't stand losing that game. IU winning.. not a peep... iu loses, I have to engage in 30 mins of how bad IU is and we need to fire our coach and everyone on our team sucks.. I would do almost anything just to get UK in the first game, beat them and then lose

I haven't seen Rawles live, just highlight tapes. He appears to be a very good player. I saw EG in high school and when he was a Sr. in high school, some scouting services had him ranked as the best SG in the country!

That's what just blows my mind. How can a bunch of 4 stars, burger boys and nba draft projects not even hold a 125-150 defensive ranking. Something is seriously broken. I think we are so offensively efficient that it is literally the game plan to not spend a lot of juice on defense and use it on offense to out run people. I hear coach talk about defense and principles and defense creates offense all the time but how are we getting worse as the conference wears on?? This team should work on nothing but defense 90% of the practices as a team for the next 3 weeks. The offense will survive. At Nebraska decent At Msu - defensive no show Penn State - meh defensive no show At illinois - some defense OSU - some defense Maryland - little defense At OSU - nope That's just from my coaching recliner

The fact that he played leaves me optimistic that he will be fine.

beat me to it JKetch! Although it's under the worst circumstances, I believe this would be best long-term for DD and our basketball program.   I'm expecting him to come back strong next year, but don't want anything to be rushed.
