Josh Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 It's troubling that you don't let facts influence what you see though. Facts say Luck is 3rd worse in the league in turnovers since he's been in the league. That influences me. Quote
Dalton26 Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 Nice list. Stats are funny, they can show anything. I'm looking at one that says Andrew Luck is 3rd worst in the league in turnovers since he's been drafted. Are you trying to say his turnovers aren't a problem at all? And I'm looking at the ones where he took a 2 win dumpster fire of a team to 3 straight 11 win seasons and an AFC championship game. The same guy that has led the most 4th quarter comebacks since he's joined the league because our defense can't stop a nosebleed. We have an Oline who couldn't block a pop warner team and aside from Hilton an extremely inconsistent receiving core. He's also played under 3 different offenses since he came in the league. Swap Luck for Wilson when they came in the League and Luck would've completely dominated while I doubt Wilson would've got the colts into the playoffs. No I never said that so don't start making things up to shift the attention away from your clear hatred of Andrew Luck. I've said time and time again he's not perfect but he's also not the only reason we are losing games like you keep saying. The only person here that's blaming one individual is you. Look back through the posts and you'll find people say when he plays bad, when our defense is horrible, when our receivers are dropping passes, and when our Oline isn't blocking. I'm honestly not trying to be a Purdue Person but you act like Luck did something personally to you so you refuse to say anything good about him. Edit: and for what it's worth MDN can't be blinded by fandom because he's not a colts fan. mdn82 1 Quote
Hovadipo Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Not a Colts fan either (in fact I can't stand them), so I feel I'm unbiased in saying that if you can't see that Andrew Luck's turnovers are many times a direct result of having 1 actual NFL player (TY) and 9 fry cooks surrounding him, then you don't know much about football and should most likely stop posting about it. So you just cherry pick the stats that support your argument. And at this point just flat out ignore or try to discredit stats that counter your argument by saying stats can say many different things...... unless they support your argument, because then they can only say one thing. I don't see anything wrong with saying "no turnovers = win". It's so simplistic, people agree, then talk about how Luck's turnovers aren't an issue. It's circles. Nobody here is saying his turnovers aren't an issue. I don't know if you're on different sites reading people comments and just transplanting them here, but no one here has said Luck's turnovers aren't an issue. mdn82 1 Quote

That's the same thing I'm saying. Stats can show all different sides of an argument. Producing the ones that Dalton did, then many people insisting that proves a point, while ognoring other stats that disagree with it...same thing. Stats are funny.I've been a Colts fan since they moved to Indy in 1984. I remember that day. I'm a big fan. I just see things different than most of you and it upsets people. We all have stats to "prove" our side. The Tampa Bay Colts crew is here, beers are popping, so I'm stepping out. Today we're even doing our mdn impression and having a fatty. Ours isn't XHoosier's girlfriend though. Lol.No turnovers = win. Go Colts Quote

The year you are complaining about Luck and turning the ball over a lot which he is not. You are arguing a point of this year that makes no sense. That is what I think most of us are trying to understand. I mean if you want to be right he turned the ball over as a rookie and a 2nd year man as well as a 3rd year man. Not even close to a historic rate, but went from two win team to the playoffs in first year. As a Bears fan I would take that. I can think of only 2 teams that wouldn't trade what they have for Luck. Please! Make that trade!Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app KingPG21 1 Quote
Dalton26 Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 My guide says the Colts and packers should be on but I'm watching a chevy commercial while getting an alert that we returned the opening kickoff. Quote
Dalton26 Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 There we go the game finally started playing as Rodgers is hiking the ball. Quote

KingPG21 Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 ...... Receives punt, precedes to just sprint to the sideline. Brilliant. Quote
KingPG21 Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 And there he tried to make a play when he shouldn't of. Didn't really have his shoulders right, momentum going way too far to he sideline, and throwing across his body. Quote
lucel15 Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 So should Luck be benched since he throws 2ints? Poor accuracy so far? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
KingPG21 Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 So don't know if people noticed, but Travis Kelce got ejected for throwing a towel at a ref today cause he didn't get a call. Said it last week, but he kind of seems like he is one of the bigger jerks on the league. Dalton26 1 Quote
KingPG21 Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Holy crap. That was an amazing throw by Rodgers. Quote
hsrtxp Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 The Colts have so many problems right now, I guess I don't see why anyone would point to Luck's turnovers as the main culprit. I get a lot more irritated with the defenses's complete inability to force anything resembling a turnover, the offensive line getting pushed backward nearly every play, receivers dropping passes and Pagano blaming everything on injuries than anything Luck does. I mean, if you want to blame Luck, that's fine I guess, but without him this team is blackout bad/move to another city bad. I think we've become so spoiled with great QB play/subpar everything else play over the years that we just expect the QB to always be elite. I distinctly remember a home loss to the Jags during Manning's prime when the defense was on the field for about 40 minutes of the game and people were blaming Manning for throwing a pick early on, then for scoring too soon at the end. Having said that, I hope Green Bay stomps us and Pagano gets canned this week. The latter probably won't happen, but I can dream. This, except the last paragraph. I just can't root for them to get beat. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Dalton26 and Josh 2 Quote
Dalton26 Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 That last drive couldn't have been executed much better. 24-10 Colts with 11 seconds left in the first half. Quote
