Dalton26 Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 The people who get upset are the ones who see Luck turn the ball over multiple times and yet refuse to give him any blame for the losses. No, the people that get upset constantly see you blame Luck no matter what happens. Everyone besides you think he's playing great. Every QB makes mistakes but for some reason Andrew Luck is the only person you ever blame for a loss regardless of how good he plays. Your hatred of Andrew Luck is both irrational and clearly personal. KingPG21 and mdn82 2 Quote

Because they're here.I like him and want him to do well. I'm just not blinded by fandom. I can see his massive turnover problem for what it is. Nothing personal at all. Quote
Dalton26 Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 Supposedly the Raiders are working on a deal that would pay Derek Carr around the same as Luck. Quote

Nothing personal at all.Honestly I don't see that at all. I see people blaming the whole team but like MDN has said every int isn't his fault. For what it's worth Lucks turnover numbers aren't that bad compared to the rest of the league. Last time I looked Rodgers has more. If Luck throws for 300 yards and 3 TD's there isn't much more he can do but if he throws 1 int it seems like you'll still blame him only. Again I'd look up the turnover numbers because his isn't much different than any other QB and it's better than more than a good portion of the league. Quote
Dalton26 Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 Like I said his turnover numbers are not even close to being as bad as you claim. I was also right that Rodgers has combined for more turnovers than Luck. Not to mention Big Ben has more ints and fumbles than Luck and has played less games. ThompsonHoosier 1 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Good stats Dalton. I was thinking, with the way some portray Luck, that he was close to leading the league in turnovers. Quote
Josh Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 So every interception and fumble is his fault?Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appI never said that, but I'll say at least 75% are. What percentage would you say? Quote

Stats are funny, they can show anything. I'm looking at one that says Andrew Luck is 3rd worst in the league in turnovers since he's been drafted. Are you trying to say his turnovers aren't a problem at all? Quote
mdn82 Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 I never said that, but I'll say at least 75% are. What percentage would you say?I would say int you are probably close. Fumbles are different. Strip sack? Pretty low as they are prepping to pass. Not tucking ball. Scrambling? Probably 50%. Could go either way depending on situation. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Peyton had more picks and less fumbles. I would look at players that started right out of college and compare them with Luck. Well if they have the same running game and line. I guess I would say I don't think his turnovers are that big of a deal right now. Cause they are getting better.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
Josh Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 If you don't think all his turnovers are a problem, we have very different viewpoints. People call me things for talking about it, I say ignoring it is blinded by fandom. I'm a fan, but I see issues Quote
TheWatShot Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 The Colts have so many problems right now, I guess I don't see why anyone would point to Luck's turnovers as the main culprit. I get a lot more irritated with the defenses's complete inability to force anything resembling a turnover, the offensive line getting pushed backward nearly every play, receivers dropping passes and Pagano blaming everything on injuries than anything Luck does. I mean, if you want to blame Luck, that's fine I guess, but without him this team is blackout bad/move to another city bad. I think we've become so spoiled with great QB play/subpar everything else play over the years that we just expect the QB to always be elite. I distinctly remember a home loss to the Jags during Manning's prime when the defense was on the field for about 40 minutes of the game and people were blaming Manning for throwing a pick early on, then for scoring too soon at the end. Having said that, I hope Green Bay stomps us and Pagano gets canned this week. The latter probably won't happen, but I can dream. ThompsonHoosier and mdn82 2 Quote

If you can't see improvement in the numbers this year while pointing to previous numbers I don't know what to tell you. No I don't think all of his turnovers are a problem as they have improved and are actually on par or better than Manning. I don't know what your expectations are when he came into the league until now, but I would offer anything on my team. Grigson likes WR so he can have Jeffrey and whatever else.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Like Dalton pointed out earlier in the thread, you go so far to the extreme and only focus on the negative with Luck and really just about every loss you pin it on him. Despite the utter **** that is the rest of the roster. mdn82 1 Quote

Jordan Howard a 5th rounder has done more in half a season than Gore will do or did in the last couple of years. Our line blows.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Josh Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 I talk about all the ussues, but talking about Luck's seem to rile people up.I don't see anything wrong with saying "no turnovers = win". It's so simplistic, people agree, then talk about how Luck's turnovers aren't an issue. It's circles. Quote
