Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 I really think Yogi will get the minutes because he's shown how valuable he is to have on the court. Also, I think he has fan support. Fans like to see him play and it's about butts in the seats. Specially when they arent a contender whatsoever. We all know Cuban loves money too as do most owners. Main thing is Yogi actually deserves it too. He has earned it with his play. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app LockdownD and Napleshoosier 2 Quote

Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 Oh Dallas is still very much in playoff contentionEveryone in the west is. Lol they aren't CONTENDERS!! Please. Cuban knows even if they make it their out in first round and if you think they have a shot at more than I have no words to make you feel different. Cuban has NEVER cared about just making the playoffs. Contenders also means a team with even a hope at making the finals. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 You didn't specify championship contenders, I assumed you just meant playoffs. My bad. My Sixers are 4 1/2 out of a playoff berth right now if that shows anything. Everyone is a playoff contender every year in the NBA till usually a week or two after all star break. This year is exceptionally bad. Though the West is starting to get it together since the Nuggets have been playing good lately. The east has 6 teams that are below 500 that are within 5 games of the 8th spot. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Yogi Ferrell has been named Western Conference Rookie of the Month. Way to go Yogi! Not surprised. Had 11 and 9 last night. Seth Curry has been on fire lately so it has taken Yogi's scoring away a bit but it is showing other sides of his game. Quinn Cook is up there now too. He needs to keep it up and secure that roster spot for next year. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app ALASKA HOOSIER and LockdownD 2 Quote

Popular Post Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 4, 2017 Author Popular Post Posted March 4, 2017 12 Yogi starts - avg 13P/3R/5A, 3-to-1 assist/TO ratio. Mavs (8-4) in those games. Don't pinch him, Yogi's livin' a dream. HoosierAloha, hsrtxp, Walking Boot of Doom and 5 others 8 Quote

Popular Post Stromboli Posted March 8, 2017 Popular Post Posted March 8, 2017 Watching Yogi's success this year has really been a nice distraction from the Hoosiers' struggles. Despite living in Indiana my whole life, I never really connected with the Pacers. Since Yogi got his chance with Cuban and Dallas, I have become a legit Mavs fan. And man, Yogi just keeps up his good play. If I'm not mistaken, he looks like he's gotten better with his drives to the basket, and a little more creative with his passes. I think once these young players the Mavs are collecting start to gel, they will be really fun to watch. ALASKA HOOSIER, HoosierAloha, ccgeneral and 5 others 8 Quote
Stuhoo Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Geez 'O Pete. I'm sold. A healthy Yogi is going to be a ten year career NBA rotation player. LIHoosier, Crimson and Cream, ALASKA HOOSIER and 4 others 7 Quote
Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Seth Curry isn't the best running mate for him, but he does add a few assist a night from catch and shooting, which seems to be Seth's big asset. Gotta give him props too. Dude worked his butt off to get in the league and has made a case to be there for awhile. Yogi is a little inconsistent at times, but he has the look of a real PG. His work ethic alone should keep him on a team.Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app Napleshoosier, ALASKA HOOSIER, cljones1979 and 1 other 4 Quote
