Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BtownBanners mobile app He said yogi's freshman year, where we had yogi and hulls as our starters. We've been just fine when Yogi had JBJ and RJ with him. He's referencing the same thing if we get Waters because we won't have to worry about another 6 foot guard being beside him. Reading comprehension is your friend Quote

And we haven't been fine with JBJ and RJ. We had one year of absolutely awful defense. The beginning of last year abs some decent play after that. Brass Cannon Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Yeah because Vic and Remy were clearly capable of playing point. Like I said give up Basketball. Quote

I to think Remy could have one day played point for us. But he wasn't ready for it. Especially not against a team like Syracuse Quote

HoosierAloha Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 How many 6-6 or 6-7 players are playing guard in college basketball. Cool Durant is a 7' guard, in the NBA... Having a small guard rarely hurts in college. Quote

HoosierAloha Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 He's like -- he's not like Magic Johnson at all -- but he's likeMagic in that you can play him probably any of four positions, ifnot five. Didn't stand next to him but when he walked in the class I thought it was him but wasn't sure because I didn't realize he was so big. If he's on a fast break I wouldn't take a charge from him. If he is only 215-220 his body fat% has to be less than 3 Napleshoosier and Josh 2 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 So he's a PG? I mean I guess so. He handles the ball a lot. If Russ wasn't on the team he'd probably be the point. Quote

No doubt he is an athlete/physically mature, I think most are concerned he is a project vs someone that can help immediately HoosierAloha 1 Quote
bhaggard89 Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 We already have 2 that are 6-3 and it hasn't really helped that much. You start taking 6-6 or 6-7 then we're getting somewhere. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BtownBanners mobile appThis isn't the NBA. Villanova won the championship with a 3 guard lineup that were 6'2.5", 6'3", and 6'5". Those heights are taken from Villanova's official website. And we know X's stance of teams' official sites: They lie on height. So, according to X, the starting 3 guards for the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS were 6'1.5", 6'2", and 6'4". But sure, 6'7" guards should soon be a mainstay in college basketball dominance. X-Hoosier Posted August 25, 2016 Author Posted August 25, 2016 Personally, if I were a coach I'd build it like an NBA team. Whether I was at Incarnate Word or Indiana. Height, length and athleticism. With such a small floor you could do a lot of damage defensively. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BtownBanners mobile appThere is a good reason why only a select few make the NBA. It is rare to find size, skill, and athleticism hand in hand. There are 1000 Peter Jurkins for your Karl Anthony Towns. That begs the question.. Those are the 3 key traits. Size, skill, athleticism. Which of the 3 is most valuable? You need all on a team.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 So u want a team that is long, and athletic. Skilled or not? A team of Hanner Pereas? My point is finding NBA size at every position for a college roster is usually going to yield a major lack of skills. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners HoosierAloha 1 Quote
