I am surprisingly okay with this loss, and frankly I don't know why, because I was really looking forward to rematches with Purdue and Michigan State. I kind of feel like I did after Maui -- let's get this out of our system. We have RoJo with another week of rest, we have Hartman recovering from falling on himself, and we have Juwan with another week to build confidence in his shoulder (he did look tentative when he was on the floor today).

 

Michigan was lucky. Kid travels before he hits the game-winner, and several times the ball just bounced the wrong way for us. 

 

And we get another reminder that just because we kicked a team once, even in their house, we have to re-establish because every game starts out 0-0.

 

Put a full (minus Blackmon, of course) healthy IU team on the floor, and I think we're poised to go to Elite Eight or better.

Watched the game at Bdubs full of IU fans and one UM guy in the middle. Told my buddy after UM beat us back door a couple times then we give up the easy dunk after Bryants monster slam these guys arent into it and this may end ugly. Welp...

I think we will come out ready for the 1st game since we're playing a team like Rutgers most likely. But after our first game, we're actually going to be playing a team worth a damn.

Balls tend to bounce your way when you give the most effort. Im disappointed because we didnt match a lesser teams effort.

No. Will be RPI Top 40... I'm just saying the first round for a 4 or 5 seed is usually tough. I think back to the turd my bracket becomes. Usually mis-steps on 4 and 5 seeds. Don't look past anyone. ANYONE.

We have had a huge advantage playing in Indy for sooo many years and have never capitalized on it. Now they are moving the tourney all over the place. So disappointing.

After today's game. It LOOKS and sort of feels like we're not going to make it past next Sunday. Just my opinion though.
