I didn't make an excuse for iu's shortcomings today I was specifically talking about Purdue and what Purdue did agaisnt a Illinois team that season is done. I agree we should of won after being up 5 with 1:50 to go but it happens Good teams move on and prepare for the next one, we shall see if we are in that category

no need to say sorry for your opinion. In my younger days this loss would of ruined my whole day but when u have a passion for a hobby or sport I realized why deprive myself of something that brings me so much joy especially when your 4 year old son loves iu and watching basketball with you. I bonded with my dad over college basketball and I can tell you bonding with my son and 2 year old daughter watching 3 TVs of basktetball is a heck of lot better then not watching. That's just me I have no problem with people that wouldn't be able to enjoy

Purdue is every bit a contender as a final four team. Moreso than us. The "eye test" told me Purdue and MSU the best B1G teams all season.

Admittedly we had some solid road games, namely at Iowa that impressed. When the 3 ball is dropping we look smooth. When it's not, it's ugly. Needed to find better ways to impose our best strength today. Michigan took that away and we let them. Our game is tempo, transition, and the 3 ball. We did little of each.
