Popular Post FKfootball Posted January 4, 2015 Popular Post Posted January 4, 2015 Steve McClain at New Albany tonight, watching Romeo. I've seen the kid play and he is a smooth, good looking 6"3 kid. Beautiful jump shot and sneaky athletic ability. Looks to be a top 100 kid in his class. I like him. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Oh Romeo, Oh Romeo, where art thou Romeo? Deny thy suitors and refuse their offers. Oh if thou wilt not be sworn to IU We'll all stop following your tweets. (Deepest apologies to Willie Shakespeare) Stuhoo, LazOffTheBench, ALASKA HOOSIER and 1 other 4 Quote

Parakeet Jones Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Who was the last Southern Indiana (L-ville area) Hoosier? Pat Graham from Floyd Central? Also was Chuck Franz from Clarksville, and Tommy Baker from Jeffersonville. Oh, and Steve Green from Silver Creek. Don't recall a New Albany Bulldog ever playing for IU.. Any thoughts? Sherron Wilkerson was from Jeffersonville, but of course he wasn't a four year guy. Napleshoosier 1 Quote
Parakeet Jones Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 I saw this kid play for a few minutes in a game I had to work at the school where I work. He was in 7th grade at the time, but you could tell he was going to be really good. there was a big crowd there that night just to see him play. WayneFleekHoosier and ccgeneral 2 Quote
memphis Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 IU better offer soon. This kid is in Pitino's backyard. Quote

FKfootball Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 . I went to Floyd Central three years but a longtime ago! I was there when they got the nickname Superhicks. We made it to the semifinals of the state and lost to East Chicago Washington who won that year. They had Pete Turgovich, Junior Bridgeman, and Tim Stoddard on that team. Jerry Schellenberg should have been a Hoosier. Quote
