So, with Dave Rice behind IU's bench I am curious if he could become a new assistant here at IU. If he is, there's a list of highly touted recruits in 16 we both have gone after;

Yeah but I'm not sure if there is necessarily bad blood. He left because Zimmerman was (rightfully) taking his minutes. He tried buying a plane ticket to leave Maui after the UCLA game apparently too, so there *may* be bad blood. He probably isn't coming here regardless so it's probably moot anyways.

UNLV is #7 in KenPom AdjD so if he could correct our defense I would gladly take him as an assistant.

IMO Crean is just being a nice guy and there's nothing more to it than that.  Rice won't be unemployed for long.  There will be enough D-1 jobs that open in the next 60 days and he'll land one of those openings.

Big IF this were to happen the only player I'm interested in from that class is Jackson. Never was a big fan of Jaylen F's game plus we really don't need another guard

What's funny is that this kid was in a lot of mixtape videos...of the guy getting blown by others in their mixtape videos. I'll pass. Id rather have a Devonte Green who has been praised about his defensive tenacity.
