Does anyone know what the expected size of the 2016 class will be? We have 13 commitments already; how many more should we expect? I thought I had read 18, but that was sometime ago and before anyone declared for the draft.

That's hard to tell. I'm sure the staff has a pretty solid idea, but I would expect some attrition, but at what level? Looking at the recruits, we seem to be looking for a TE, WR, maybe another OL, one or two DB's, a LB'er or two, and 2 or 3 DT/DE. That's 10, whether we have that many spots or not, I don't know. There may be a few priorities and take the first commits on the rest.

I know a lot of people don't really pay attention to class rankings (even I think they are a little overrated), but after two new commitments today we moved up about 10 spots to 67 according to 247 rankings.

I think we can move up even higher and have another top 50 class this year! Still plenty of talented recruits looking at our program. A lot of optimism around the Hoosiers!
