WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Good transition layup. Off yogi steal. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Was cautiously optimistic our overall level of play would be significantly better than it sounds like it's been from everyone's updates. Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 40-32 at the half. Good D for last 2 min Quote
Kepner Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Was cautiously optimistic our overall level of play would be significantly better than it sounds like it's been from everyone's updates. I wouldn't read too much into it. Subbing like crazy to get everyone in the game, plus its the first exhibition. Guys are still getting used to playing together. There are a lot of bright spots. TheWatShot Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 This game would be over if we knew how to take care of the ball. jmsgws, LIHoosier, yogisballin and 1 other 4 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Admittedly Freshman and Max look good. Minus Anunoby who has been a foul monster. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
Kepner Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Hoping to see a different Troy Williams this year. So far he looks too similar to last year ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Subtract the turnovers. Tons of bright spots TBH. Ranger78 and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
FortWayneHoosier Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Played decent there just before the half, I'm hoping we can limit our turnovers and play some better defense Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Only thing that concerned me is seeing who was turning the ball over. 4 from Troy and 2 a piece from Yogi, RoJo, Bryant, and Hartman. yogisballin 1 Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Our rebounding and assist numbers look good. Shooting percentages should be higher. Willing to attribute this to jitters. It'd be real nice if we just dominated the second half. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
yogisballin Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 This game would be over if we knew how to take care of the ball. And play freaking defense! Ugh ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
hoosha61 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Underwhelming half. Really sloppy at times, Yogi behind the back to them...Troy had a nice transition play and a good feed to Thomas. Max was very active. Hoping for better play in the 2nd. Go Hoosiers! FortWayneHoosier 1 Quote
jmsgws Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 For those that are able to watch why do you think we're turning it over? Is it intense defense by Ottawa or just lazy or careless stuff by us A lot of them are not lazy and careless. Just street ball. Quote
Stuhoo Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 And play freaking defense! Ugh I don't have the game feed, but 'holding' Ottawa to 32 at half seems like it should be a success...no? Quote
LIHoosier Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Stats from ITH https://twitter.com/insidethehall/status/661707290328875009 I like 11 assists on 16 FG's. Thankfully Ottawa has been as sloppy as us and haven't hit their 3's(2-11) For an opponent whose tallest player is 6'8", Bryant needs to be more dominant inside. he's just 3-8 and has seemed hesitant with the ball near the hoop.
