What's the odds....

Come next July, Pitino will be nearly 64 years old.  Personally, I prefer that our next coach not be someone who is literally in the twilight of their career and almost ready for Medicare.  And, I'd especially not want to see him bring his kid on board as an assistant with the intent of passing the IU coaching mantle from father Rick to sonny Richard.  Depending how this all shakes out at U of L, he might be interested in us, but purely from my personal point of view, I'm not interested in him.  I want another NCAA banner as badly as anyone, but not with Rick Pitino.  Purely my personal opinion and I know many of you will disagree.

Who could disagree with the prospect of hating the elderly?

I doubt he brings his son.  His son is a HC he is gonna stay one.   And I think getting Pitino positions us better for the future.  Hes a name that can attract talent.  And that gives us time to find his replacement.
