ALASKA HOOSIER Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 This actually can be a good thing. I'm kinda excited that DD is doing something that will give IUFB some recognition. Now......If we can win Bobman1, HoosierAloha and IUsafety 3 Quote

KelleyHoosh Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Great. They're going to beat us on Friday and on Saturday? Ha whoops. It's actually going to be embarrassing. I also think while Dakich's thing is an okay idea the execution is going to be pretty cringey and it'll be an all around embarrassing day for the football program. But that's for another thread I guess! Thanks for the info DJ. Super appreciated FortWayneHoosier 1 Quote

A couple people will pass by but I think that's about it. And they got moved away from the Hoosier Village area. KelleyHoosh 1 Quote
djsalway Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I think the dakich thing has a lot of potential, but also a large chance of being a bust. Depends on how the crowd is for it honestly, and seeing as how most people in the IU fan base despise DD, I don't expect it to be very successful. As for the game, I actually expect us to put up a fight. All depends on Nate (he's been somewhat hobbled this week as well) and how well J Howard can run in space. KelleyHoosh 1 Quote
KelleyHoosh Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Yeah, I think Dakich's thing has potential. But I haven't heard anyone really talking about it/advertising it. I don't think he's reached out to SAB, who I think would really be the force behind making it a success. I was confident earlier in the week, but whenever a game nears I always feel we will lose. Not just IU, any team I cheer for. If we dominate TOP, anything can happen. Gotta play to our strengths and that's Howard/redding and the O-line Naturalhoosier, ALASKA HOOSIER and Bobman1 3 Quote

Super appreciatedYou aren't the only one, but I find it fascinating that the team is playing well, gets a big stage and a sellout crowd, and yet we still have people worrying that it's going to be an "embarrassing" day for the program. There's going to be plenty of people in the mood to party. I can't believe I'm defending Dakich, as he's a giant ass on his show typically. He'll get a decent showing on Saturday though. Beer sells. Heck, #dakichgameday was trending for a while. KelleyHoosh, Naturalhoosier, ThompsonHoosier and 1 other 4 Quote

The Dakich thing at this point cannot possibly be a total bust. I got all of those great Dakich on Urban sex puns in. From my point of view, that's enough to call it a wild success. djsalway, IUsafety, IUaic and 2 others 5 Quote
Hovadipo Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 He got like 10 kegs donated. People will show up. Didn't know that so people will probably show up, but not necessarily the demo they're aiming for. Underage kids make up a good portion of the college crowd and they won't be able to party there. It won't be the classic gameday atmosphere. RBB89 1 Quote

I went yo the gameday for basketball when we played Michigan in '13 and basically the whole thing was fabricated for tv Quote
mdn82 Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 IDK. Corso is the shit. DD unless he is doing keg stands he may be in over his head. Quote
