Class 4A #7 McCutcheon 77, Anderson 56.    Phinisee 28 points in 3 quarters as he sat out the entire 4th quarter as the game was well in hand and McCutcheon plays again tonight against Danville.

In a game played at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, McCutcheon defeated Danville 73-39.  Phinisee with 25 pts.

He was 10-12 from the field and 3-6 from the stripe.

Phinisee is a very important get for Indiana and for Crean.  He needs to start succeeding in state and needs to start building a roster instead of a bunch of kids who do the same things and need the ball in their hands.

Where is he in his development, when compared to Yogi at the same time?

I played against Yogi his sophomore year in semi state when I was at Southwood and he was the by far the most talented kid I have seen in high school. We also played Luers when Deshaun Thomas was there and though he scored 40 plus it was mainly from the free throw line. Yogi did everything and was probably only taller than me on the whole court. I see similarities in Phinisee but I dont expect many kids to be on Yogis level.

Thank god. Needs to get this kid!! MUST GET. No RoJo or Newkirk and only DG and CuJo and Durham as true guards. 18 class needs at least 2 guards. One true PG(this kid) and an athletic shooter which equals pretty much a top 50 kid.

McCutcheon whipped Jeff 75-51.  Phinisee with 21 pts., 9 reb., 8 asst. and a number of steals.

If I wasn't working I would be there, if they beat my Wildkats they likely play Logansport and Jalen Adaway in the sectional finals which would be a heck of a game.

McCutcheon defeats Zionsville 61-47 for its 3rd straight sectional championship and will face Carmel next weekend in the regional.  Phinisee with 19 pts., 8 reb; 5 asst. and at least 3 stls.
