Sports We Play Now

Felt it would be fun to start a thread about sports us Btowners currently play. I just started indoor soccer tonight, and I've never player soccer before in my life. I was always into baseball and basketball growing up, so I never played soccer. Felt I did pretty decently for being out of shape too lol. I was most proud of holding back for puking haha. The team went out drinking beforehand because we are sponsored by a bar. Not the best idea for me since I'm not used to this.

 

Does anyone else do any other sports? I play golf, but not like I used to. I was a 5 handicap when I was 23 or 24. That was when I worked at a golf course and played everyday. Now I would probably shoot a 90-95 because I only play 3 or 4 times a year.

Golf and the occasional pickup bball game. I'm now the old guy that somehow scores with being able to run or jump. I WILL foul you to keep you from scoring.

Soccer is tough enough when you are sober and in shape, lol.

Tennis, pick up basketball games, flag football, softball, and golf. Tennis and basketball dominate the majority of my time

Basketball, softball (every once in a while), some golf. I'm the old point guard who isn't quick or fast anymore but can still shoot.
