YOGI--You Stayed! Now Lead Us To Glory!

Recommended Posts

His mom passed away from the cancer she was battling this week. I think a big reason he was going to leave was to help pay for the treatment. He announced that he would take some time and think the decision over under the new circumstances.

wow, that's incredibly tragic. I hope he makes the choice that's best for him.

Come on Yogi---no second chances--no do-overs----make the right decision and pick your Hoosiers over the D-League and Europe. TB is ready to help you lead us to banner #6---- you have the chance to go down as one of the greatest Hoosiers ever. Unfinished business!

Yogi has been loyal and watched Zeller, Vonleh, and Oladipo go pro before they spent four years at IU. I would like to see Yogi stay but I understand if he felt it was time to move on. Everyone seems happy to see Bryant maybe stay two years. Let's be more understanding.

Zeller, Vonleh, and certainly Oladipo were much more ready to go pro! Do you want to be a true pro?? Do you want to play overseas?? All the tools are here for next year come back and prove you are a leader!

Biggest issue for me here is not Yogi, but Crean not planning for this: stays or goes, past Yogi, we have 0 point guards on the roster and 0 committed in the future. It's piss poor planning and don't tell me Robert Johnson is our PG of the future and if he is, where is this shooting guard, i mean point guards back up in case something happens to him?

sadly I will bet money if yogi leaves troy is creans plan to run alot of pg. He said they practiced with him at point alot before the tourney started. It will probably be a huge train wreck if yogi goes.

If Williams is the plan to run the point you're right it'll be an absolute train wreck. I can just see troy now driving to the basket out of control and making ridiculous passes leading to TO, and Crean will change nothing to slow him down. Lord please let Yogi come back!

"It is with tremendous pride and heartfelt joy that Mr. and Mrs Crean of Yipsilani, MI., and Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell of Indianapolis, IN, announce the impending nuptials or their children, Tom Crean and Yogi Kevin Ferrell. Tom is a 1989 graduate of Central Michigan, having lettered in track, swimming and Lacrosse. He currently holds the position of head basketball coach at Indiana University, and hopes to one day devise a legitimate defense and understand the intricacies of a two three zone. Mr. Ferrell is currently enrolled at Indiana University, majoring in business and Lambada studies. He also plays basketball for the Hoosiers, and is hopeful of one day playing in the NBA, though he readily admits that getting married may hamper his position in the upcoming NBA draft. The happy couple plan to call Bloomington their home, and are currently looking for local bakers to help with arrangements.
