Has your dad seen clips of juwan Morgan? He slithers around like a snake and shows no hustle whatsoever. He will probably adapt to college style, and can also shoot the 3 well. He won't start though for sure if we get thon.

Best to save judgments till we see him in full games. He was named Most Improved Player of last summers EYBL AAU league, which is the top AAU league in the states. That bodes well for him.

agree! Though his ceiling is limited due to athleticism on offense and defense. His heart and hustle make up for it but, to what extent?

Aside yogi, last year I would deem him MVP to the team. Stats don't mean value always. He was the glue guy & held it together. I just don't get why anyone would bad talk him?

We always talk about traditional "IU players". WAKE UP PEOPLE. Collin is VINTAGE IU.

I could not agree more. I think Colin's nickname should be "80's" because he reminds me of an IU player from that era.

I was really pleasantly surprised by Hartman this year and it was great to see his 3pt shot back during the Wichita State game.

Hartman is not as bad as some make him out to be.

Hartman was also coming back from rehabbing a torn ACL and then being asked to play the post in the B1G. Give him a healthy summer to work on his game and he could make an even bigger leap than he did last year.

Im not down on Hartman but you also have to be realistic about him. Of course it wasn't fair to put him in the post, but he isn't quick enough to defend most wings. Apart from an occasional three he doesn't add much on offense. Im not saying he is terrible or shouldn't play, but I think he is a role player at best. He is usually pretty smart with the ball and his passing but can't be counted on to score usually

if the quickest always wins in a match up, I believe we should've had more success this year. Was Steve Alford the quickest? Was Dan Dakich quicker than Jordan? Do we play man often? Does he get help side D?

Hartman is not as bad as some make him out to be.

He's a blue-collar, hard-nosed kid with a good basketball IQ.  Not the most athletically gifted basketball player but very glad he's on our team.

I was thinking the same thing...he was one of the only ones I didnt cringe when he had the ball.

We can play Hartman at the 4 spot and it's not he needs to be that quick to defend most 4's.

I'll be very surprised if Hanner doesn't get a majority of the minutes at the 4" . I mean he is a nightmare to cover if we actually had a legit center [ Bryant]. I hope Hanner make the jump that everyone was hoping for last year and I think he will get every opportunity to earn a starting job.


Or he may be a transfer candidate if he feels Crean and Company are already too sour on him. Does anyone know if Hanner will have his degree this summer?

 He really has trouble guarding out on the floor.

His lateral quickness is bad but could improve as he heals more from his leg injury's.

As far as playing the 4, Holt is a very good offensive rebounder which we need out of that position.

I really like Collin as a spark off the bench rather than a starter.
