Melo Trimble returning to Maryland?

Recommended Posts

too much acting for my liking.  I respected Dez Wells as a player more.  Trimble has more upside, but was annoying with all the acting.  GREAT. GREAT shooter though.

I agree, The head jerk every time someone so much as touches him is annoying as hell.D'angelo Russell and both Harrison twins do it also

That must be what the AAU system teaches instead of fundamentals.

He is a talent though, no doubt.

Good. Maybe he will start a trend in staying....prolly not...

...and yes I want the other teams players to be successful in sport and in life as well.

Starting a trend of what? Not leaving when you shouldn't

probably a smart move on his part, and i think maryland will be that much better next year too. Also i love what kind of rivarly Maryland is starting to turn into for us, Id say that the games we played them this year especially the one we played against them in the BTT was the most exciting to watch...just a sidenote lol

Yes. Thats why I wrote "in staying" after trend...

My point is he isn't setting any kind of trend. He is projected as a second round pick.... in 2016. People like Cody were much closer to being any kind of a trend setter, or the Kentucky kids who came back. Trimble isn't even really following a trend

Eh. Theres a ton of kids who leave early every year and end up in the D league. Regardless of projections, they aren't ready for NBA ball but leave anyway. I think thats what he's getting at. A kid recognizing his game/stock isn't ready for the NBA and coming back

I guess. Still isn't a trend setter, there are plenty of kids who realize they aren't good enough and decide to come back. The number that come back because they realize this still outweigh the ones who do leave

a lot of times the ones that leave "too early" are "forced" to do so due to academics and not being equipped for college life.
