Yes, him.  He had to be some relation to Crean.  I honestly think Crean could burn down an orphanage on Christmas Eve and that guy would find a way to defend it.

Remember when SSQ switched and agreed that Crean had to go. It was like evilshortspacequickness took over then he/she was back to supporting Crean fully.

I too have a hard time not thinking they weren't closely connected to TC. Especially during all the JC not happy and BHS booing his son hoopla SSQ said they could care less if he ever won another game at IU.

You just don't understand! It's not that simple! Sometimes you have to burn down an orphanage to get a big man! Many times if you do it on Christmas eve you can lure in a five* point guard as well and then you're in business!I mean, all the top coaches know that and they all say that Crean is one of the best in the game at lighting those fires! That's how he gets his tan...Izzo, Seth Davis, and all those experts endorse Crean! You guys just don't understand what goes into being a successful mid-major coach at IU!

I had many conversations with him or Mrs. Crean. I get it now but I stand on my overall evaluation of his/her program. More of this speculation leads me to believe now even more Glass has to go with him.

i don't know. I think SSQ was related to Crean through kin or employment or church or some connection. SSQ did not like me and I know that for a fact and was told so very bluntly. Odd to say the least.

I don't know what you guys are on about with SSQ. He loved me, and often professed a strong desire to bear one of my children. While admittedly, I was flattered, I explained to him that like most of Tom Crean's teams, there were too many parts missing from the equation for there to be any success. At this, he referred to me as a selfish bastard, and never spoke with me again.
