Head of the IHSAA, Bobby Cox, interviewed at halftime of the McCutcheon-Warsaw game.  Reiterated no fatalities or life threatening injuries.  Bumps, bruises, scrapes and some broken bones.  No decision on the scheduled game will be made until Tuesday.

He also said the game will be played Tuesday and it is up to Griffith to decide if they want to continue on with their season or not.

Originally, IHSAA commissioner Bobby Cox said that the makeup game needed to be played Monday or Tuesday to keep everything on schedule for the state tournament next weekend. Marion and Griffith reached a compromise of playing the game on Wednesday. It will be at 6 p.m. eastern time at Lafayette Jeff on Wednesday.

At the end of the 3rd Q, Griffith leading Marion 49 - 42.  Pretty remarkable the Griffith team was able to re-group after what they experienced last Saturday.

Marion beats Griffith 60-58 on a putback as time expires. What a game! The stage is set for this Saturday.
