Third row opposite basket, end of the row. Lept from my seat when it hit, knocked over one of KYs security guards and kept running. I figured I was dressed like Bobby Knight so they'd never found me. Found myself with my arm around Cody and Elston. Awesome.

Ha! I did colorguards for all 4-years. They used to always give us great seats, a practice I believe they have ceased (which is bull-shit in my mind).

Hey, first time beating them in like 12 years when they were ranked and we were a garbage team.

I understand that it's a debatable court storm, but it's not one that's quite so obviously bad. I was at the game and it was absolutely electric at the end, I understand the college kids got overwhelmed by it and just wanted something to be happy about in a crappy year and a long rivalry.

Personally, I slowly meandered down to the court after the game to take the picture in my avatar.

Court stormings are stupid. Celebrate in your seat and act like you have a little bit of sense. AND, at a school like IU they are embarrassing. Act like you been there and we have. The 5 banners say so. Somebody is gonna get killed. My wifes high school classmate rushed the field at a BSU football game they pulled over the goal post it landed on his back and he's paralyzed from the chest down for the rest of his life over a stupid stunt as a kid. THINK!

Yea, it was a tragedy. If there is a bright side to such a story it is that the guy has gone on to be successful in our small town.

I'm pretty well always against court stormings.  They are not part of the game, they bring nothing to the game.  It's just a bunch of people, many of which are drunk, thinking they look cool when they don't.  It's stupid and pointless in general.

 

The one time, and only time, I was okay was when we beat UK on the WatShot.  No other time.  Frankly I wish the B1G would ban the stupid thing.
