IU vs. MD Postgame Thread

I need some help here from some of the old men...(looking at you Naples...) me and some friends were trying to think of the best PG's in IU history. All we could come up with was Yogi and Isaiah. We thought Alford and Bailey were both 2 guards. Coverdale up there maybe? My iubb history just doesn't reach far enough back for guys I'm surely missing. So who are some of the other best PG's here ever? And is Isaiah the only guy ahead of (or maybe getting close to being even....??) Yogi?

I honestly didn't realize Buckner was a point. And Guyton completely slipped my memory. Reynolds is a good one to impress people. Thanks guys.

I hope that in every game in March our guys use this loss as motivation. I see this as one of those games to help us be battle tested.

Also, I can't be mad at Crean. What he's been able to do with this team is crazy. We're looking at a top 4 Big Ten finish for a team that was projected 10th in preseason and that looked dead to rights after the game against E*****n W********n. He coached one heck of a game. Called all his timeouts, including the crucial one when we went down 57-51.

This team is doing great. I think we could do some real damage come March.

There are some crazy stats in this game, aside from horrendous shooting from JBJ and RoJo. Hoosiers take 18 more shots than Maryland - 18! Both teams hit 10 threes, and Hoosiers actually had one more made shot.  Terps made four more free throws (both missed four free throws). IU with only 6 turnovers?  Terps turned it over 13 times but still shoots almost 50%.  Hoosiers just could not convert those MD turnovers to points.  Its late and I can not go to sleep!

Buckner was a true old-school PG. Not a scorer like Isiah, but a leader, RMK's QB. It was like he channeled Knight's mind on the court.

Loved the way Hanner played tonight. We need him in kill mode like that all the time.

Blackmon.. forming some opinions about him but shake it off young fella amd please find that shot. This has been a rough overall shooting performance in conference.

Hartman doing hartman things. That layup hurts BAD but that doesn't cost us the game. The missed wide open dunks and bunnies all do that together.

To me, Guyton was another small SG in the vein of Alford and Bailey. When he played, Michael Lewis primarily was at point.

Guyton wasn't really the point, Michael Lewis was. He's also the all-time IU assists leader.
