24/7 has us currently at #51 overall and #9 in the B1G. For comparison's sake, the 2014 class finished #48 overall #9 in the B1G.

This is weird. Scout has IU ranked 13th in the B1G while Rivals has our class 7th.

Can someone explain the large discrepancy to me, I don't follow FB recruiting as much as hoops.

Rankings are about halfway down the page.

Recruiting rankings are really just guesses, but they are an indicator of a program's strength.  Natty, brought up the 2/47 rankings as having us 9th in the B1G.

ESPN says we are 6th in the conference,

Rivals has us 7th,

Scout is the outlier, and they have us as 13th  WTF!!

So I think all 2/47 did was let the other services do the work, and take the average!!

ESPN has us at 10th. Just saw on TV.

We average at about 10th. 24/7 says 9th. Probably incorporates average from others as well as their own prospect ratings/rankings.

I know that the rankings are guesses. I just wondered if one site or the other missed a couple guys or assumed that some schools had certain guys and didn't reflect any changes.

Nonetheless, Purdon't is in the cellar. :120:

Any way you slice it, middle of the pack in the B1G and top 50 class nationally is pretty solid for a program with 1 bowl appearance in 20 years. Add in Howard and Hawkins, who don't count towards the rankings, and I'm a happy happy camper. Time to translate these success's to W's.

Another thought on Howard coming in at RB along with Redding returning. Sure CKW came in with the QB guru rep, but his line of RBs now consists of Adrian Peterson, Demarco Murray, and Tevin.
