Hoosiers toughest stretch due to start Sunday

Recommended Posts

1-3 would be good, 2-2 would be great, 3-1 would mean we are a tourney team competing for a top 5 spot in the conference, 4-0 is a chance at a top 2 B1G finish

Most likely to win would be @The other assembly hall or @home vs. Maryland.  I don't see us winning @O$U or @PU.  PU isn't very good but it will be their super bowl and we like to give up layups.

I think this stretch is a make or break for the Tom Crean era at Indiana. Four very difficult games and if we don't play well in each, we could go 0-4. We have no inside game and while I don't want to predict failure, Purdue will be our best chance for a W. I don't se us beating any of the others unless we hit everything from the outside. Beating Penn St at home by 3 doesn't lead me to think this team has turned a corner. I would be happy going 1-3 and Illinois will be a tough start.

Do you guys remember that quote by Bob Knight where he said he wasnt worried about trailing LSU because he saw Dale Brown on the other sideline. I wonder how many coaches feel that way about Crean?

Crean beat almost every coach in the B1G over the past 2 years in addition to Larry Brown and Jamie Dixon. But yeah I'm sure those coaches have no respect for Crean.

I wasn't taking a shot at him. Just wondering if his peers feel that way?

I guess my point is if they feel that way it based totally on their arrogance since he's beat most of them very recently.

Bo Ryan may feel that way,14-4 all time.

But even he lost to us last year finally getting the monkey off Crean's back.

The rest not so much.

Honestly, the smell hovering around West Lafayette is nauseating.   My Mom was living there for several years while I was going to IU, so i'd be up there visiting quite a bit...   and trust me, it stinks like dog food.   I believe that it's the ethanol plant that's near there.

Makes sense. Somebody has to feed the girls that patrol their campus.

Maybe more along the lines of "How did I just get beat by that guy"??

I bet all the coaches of all those ranked teams we've beaten over the last few year don't feel that way!
