Walk on tryouts?

What about jaquan lyle with the recent tweet he had about crean we might be a "favorite", on top of that with recent light suspensions he might want to come more with his supposed "off court problems".

Who would have thought that when the walkons all left the team last year along with many others, this would really hurt the team? I'm sure Coach thought he would just replace them like all his scholarship players. No continuity even with walkons. Sad.

Scouting report for RebelHoosier:

 

Defensively slow and a liability---has been known to hold jerseys and throw elbows to slow his opponent.

 

Offensively---can hit the open shot out to 3 point range if left wide open---does not respond well to defensive pressure.

 

Rebounding---forget it--his vertical left him years ago.

 

Teammate---quick tongue who tries to see the bright side in most situations unless someone attacks one of his teammates at which time he is the first one off the bench to get in the brawl.  :wink:

 

Overall---past his glory days--needs to keep his butt on the bench--- and mouth on the message boards!

My walk on days are over---but I still remember fondly being a starting guard on a dorm championship team in the HYPER rec league about 25 years ago.

 

Now--- I am in serious need of IU's strength and conditioning program! ;)

He did replace them though with Ritchie and Burton. Burton played was a good D2 player, and Ritchie is a freshman that had a few D1 offers
