Another #1 seed (Towson) about to go down in its conference tourney, so another bid stealer. I saw IU listed as First Four In last night so is it safe to assume IU needs a strong showing in the B1G tournament to be safely in the field?

That would not be a bid stealer. Bid stealing only happens if a team that would make the tourney at-large loses their tournament and a team that otherwise would not make it in, gets in as a conference championship. Towson would not be in as an at-large team to my knowledge.

Since NET rankings were introduced, the lowest NET for an at-large team was Rutgers at 77 in 2022. Towson is 138.

Depends on which site you look at.  Some have them in the First 4 and others have the currently in without being in Dayton.   In Anne them as the second to last bye team meaning 2 spots away from Dayton so for me a little wiggle room

Robert Morris up 3 on Oakland with 3 min to go.   Morris is the 1 seed in the Horizon and Oakland had been leading most the game

Not too long ago, the CAA could make an argument as the best mid-major. Had two at-large teams make the Final Four. CAA tourney at Richmond was always a big event. Now? Pretty low level.
