Yeah the SunBelt doesn’t have many  opportunities for Q1 or even Q2 games.   They can’t lose at home to anyone other then App St        I hope they make the tourney because they are good

I think their fans are pretty frustrated. A few are giving him some slack due to the surgery but a lot online seem ready to boot him.

lol  this made me laugh a ton.   Hawkins one of my least favorite players in college basketball.  Cries and makes a scene every game

During the UConn game this year, I think mid 2nd half there was an instance where Hurley was on the court as the ball was being inbounded and he sort of shoved/patted Mgbako's back. The section of IU fans right in front of it were screaming bloody murder looking for a T but it didn't really warrant one in hindsight.

Even when Edeys gone, they'll have a junior Smith and Loyer. A senior First. Junior TKR. Sophomore Colvin. Painter has without a doubt hit his stride.

Agree. He’s trusting his eye on talent and it’s paying off. Them being as good as they’ve been hasn’t softened the blow of what we have been.

His guys play so hard. Fight. Compete. Play with a purpose. Understand basketball. Etc. Many of the things we are missing.

Anyway, let’s beat the Buckeyes.

Yea it sucks. But in the totality of college basketball history.. Indiana maybe just in a slump. So maybe we will get out of it but that's a different conversation in itself that we've all had here plenty.

 

And we need today's win bad. Gotta have it.

Painter is a really good coach. He wins and loses with class and, for a university that I detest, is a very likeable guy. When they sucked a few years ago, he took complete responsibility for it, changed his recruiting philosophy, and here we are. He has continuity in the program and doesn't turn the roster over in a major way each year.  Maybe we get back there some day.

Anyone see the textbook "Edey is hard to officiate" moment last night? Luke Goode boxes him out, Edey puts his left elbow into Goode's neck and pins him to his side, and reaches over the top of him to get the rebound. Foul on Goode.
