It wasn't just the losses, it was the nature of the losses.  OSU, Wisconsin, and Syracuse were all not close games.  Just not what you would expect from a team that spent the most time at #1 that year.

It isn't. But that team was exhausted and you could tell. That OSU game they really didn't show up but I'm assuming OSU wasn't happy about us winning at their place. That Cuse game was just the perfect storm. Team was exhausted and hurt, Cuse was much bigger on the wings and we had a coach who couldn't run a zone offense. But that team didn't exactly crap the bed. It could have been way worse. Wish we had that team back. They would have ran through this Big Ten and we'd all be happy.

I know it's not cool to root for player injuries, but leg cramps for Wake's best player is okay, right?

A wake forest loss would be huge — forget their record, they are a bubble team.  They are second team in on bracketville.

Yearly reminder more teams play their way out of the tournament then teams playing their way in.   Wake could still possibly get in but I would be sweating if I was them.   Espn will drive home  that they are safe and should be a tourney team but it’s going to be close.   Last I looked 18 of their wins are over 93  NET.  With a non con sos worse then IU’s they could be in trouble
