LIHoosier Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Not a fantastic fifteen seconds for #5 of BC Quote

That Minnesota team was pretty good, the Big Ten was just that strong that year. That Minnesota team had Mbakwe, Williams and Hollins x2. So sure we lost 3 games, it definitely wasn't the ending we wanted, Cream definitely screwed up, but that team went through an absolute gauntlet at the end and in a Big Ten that makes this year look like the MAC. It wasn't just the losses, it was the nature of the losses. OSU, Wisconsin, and Syracuse were all not close games. Just not what you would expect from a team that spent the most time at #1 that year. That OSU game they really didn't show up but I'm assuming OSU wasn't happy about us winning at their place. That Cuse game was just the perfect storm. Team was exhausted and hurt, Cuse was much bigger on the wings and we had a coach who couldn't run a zone offense. But that team didn't exactly crap the bed. It could have been way worse. Wish we had that team back. They would have ran through this Big Ten and we'd all be happy. HoosierX 1 Quote

Hovadipo Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Oof. Don't like that charge call. (Do like what it may do for our tournament hopes) Quote
Hovadipo Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Thought he got hammered, but he didn't. Great no-call. Quote

Stuhoo Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 I know it's not cool to root for player injuries, but leg cramps for Wake's best player is okay, right? Quote

That isn't an injury, it's a lack of hydration and banana-eating and pickle juice-drinking. He brought this on himself, frankly. Reap what you sow, crampopotamus! RaceToTheTop Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 A wake forest loss would be huge — forget their record, they are a bubble team. They are second team in on bracketville. Quote
Hovadipo Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Demar Langford Jr.: finally a Langford that can help us get into the tourney. BillHaderSNLStefonCoveringMouth.gif Stuhoo 1 Quote
Uspshoosier Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Yearly reminder more teams play their way out of the tournament then teams playing their way in. Wake could still possibly get in but I would be sweating if I was them. Espn will drive home that they are safe and should be a tourney team but it’s going to be close. Last I looked 18 of their wins are over 93 NET. With a non con sos worse then IU’s they could be in trouble str8baller 1 Quote
